We now have Monterey Pears for the picking. They are a very good pear! They are large and bumpy weighing around 1 lb each. They are worth the trip for a dollar a pound.
Zucchini and Yellow Squash are producing well. Armenian Cucumbers, are plentiful. Pickling Cucumbers are very nice. Asian , White and Black Beauty Eggplant are in large supply now. Cherry Tomatoes and Roma Tomatoes are in season (You need to look under the plant to find them). Tomatillos, used to make salsa are in season now. The Jonagold Apples are available now for picking. Most fruit and vegetable crops are $1.00 per lb. Cantaloupe $2.00 each, and Watermelon, $4.00 each are available at the fruit stand. We now have Okra. You need to come early for the okra because there is only one row. Butternut Squash and spaghetti squash are available now.
