The Gilcrease Orchard was established in 1977 by Ted and Bill Gilcrease. In 1997 Ted created the Gilcrease Orchard Foundation to preserve the orchard and provide the community with the opportunity to learn about agriculture. It is a non-profit foundation governed by a volunteer board of trustees. Over the years it has been a popular "pick and pay" site for a variety of produce.
